Secret Santa 2015

I guess I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus for the past month or so. Between working 60+ hours a week, and working so far from where I live, I’ve been crazy busy and haven’t really had time to blog OR read. Even between all my busy-ness, I knew I HAD to make time to participate in The Broke and the Bookish’s Secret Santa! This is my second year participating and it is always SO MUCH FUN.

I got some seriously AMAZING gifts from my secret santa this year. Thank you SO much to Kristen for spending your time to put together such a perfect gift for me!

  1. Illuminae by Amy Kaufman and Jay Kristoff — I’ve had this on my TBR for a couple months now after seeing review after review talking about how great it was, so I’m super excited to read this one! Plus, it’s a beautiful shiny hardcover!
  2. Maybe In Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid — TJR has become one of my top favorite authors after I read both of her other novels earlier this year. This was the only one I hadn’t read/my library didn’t carry, so this is definitely at the TOP of my what-to-read-next list.
  3. Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center — This was a surprise as it is actually not a book I’ve heard of before, but it definitely sounds like such a ME book.

I also got three mini candles and some car smelly things from Bath and Body Works, a really cute set of mini nail polishes, some super cute stickers, and so much candy.

One of my absolute favorite things was a mug from the Starbucks You Were Here Collection. The mugs have different cities/states on them that I try to collect from everywhere I go. I’ve never been anywhere near Detroit so this was an exciting one to add to my collection!

Thank you again, Kristen, for putting together such a great box for me! I seriously loved everything!
